Sorrento 🇮🇹 – A Quick Round-Up

It’s only from writing about Sorrento over the last few weeks that I’ve realised we practically squeezed a full holiday into the first 5 days of this trip…we did so much 😅

Where we stayed 👇 • @santafortunatavillage (2 nights) – the perfect first stop: pool, sea access, onsite restaurant and the kids’ first holiday show on stage 🎤 • @lemon_flats_sorrento (3 nights) – hilltop views, incredible hosts, easy access into town and mamma’s private dining experience was a definite highlight 🍝🍋

What we managed to fit in… • Beach time ☀️ • Exploring Sorrento • Pompeii 🏛️ • Positano 💙 • Lots of very good food and even better wine 🍷

How we got around… • Every way possible!!! Plane ✈️, train 🚆, minibus 🚐 and boat ⛴️

A few takeaways 😉 • Don’t forget the pram 🙈 (we realised we had forgotten it on the way to the airport and ended up having to buy one over there 🫠) • Budget properly – we spent like we were minted. We were not 😅 • Positano – mixed reviews. Go if you’ve time, but you won’t miss loads if you don’t!

Sorrento was such a brilliant base for this part of Italy and to tick off things on our bucket list 🇮🇹✨
